Inner Wheel New Zealand and District NZ297 are excited to be welcoming you to Blenheim for the 2025 IWNZ Conference on 2-4 May 2025!

Join us for a weekend of Inner Wheel inspiration, friendship and adventures as your explore New Zealand's wine region!

Registration Information

Members - $295

Partners - $295

    • Earlybird Registrations received by 30 November 2024 go into the draw for $295 refund of Registration.
    • Late Registrations received after 1 February 2025 will incur an additional late fee of $40 per person.
    • Closing Date for Registrations is 28 February 2025.
    • Cancellations: Refunds less an 25% admin fee will be given up to 1 February 2025. After this date refunds will be at the discretion of the Conference Committee.

      Travel Arrangements

      If you require a pick-up on arrival or a drop-off for your departure, please indicate this in the registration form. Pick-ups are only available for arrivals on Thursday or Friday and drop-offs are only available for departures on Sunday or Monday. 

      Please note there will be a small charge associated with transport.

      Booking are essential. Once registrations have closed, we will contact you for your travel details.

        Mayor Nadine Taylor - Friday evening


        Nadine is serving her first term as Mayor of Marlborough after six years as an elected Councillor, including three years as Deputy Mayor.

        Nadine was born and raised in Marlborough and has a life-long affinity with the area, especially Picton and the Sounds. Her key focus is overseeing the long-term recovery of the storm-hit Marlborough Sounds, progressing strategic economic development opportunities for the region, and taking a lead on Marlborough’s response to climate change.

        Alexia Hilbertidou - Friday Evening

        Alexia Hilbertidou (Hill - burr - Tea - do) is the CEO of GirlBoss NZ - NZ's largest organisation for young women. Founded when Alexia was just 16, GirlBoss now has 17,500 members.

        Alexia’s mission is to get women to the table - the boardroom table that is, and she believes the decisions made while young are crucial in paving the way.

        She has flown with NASA, received a Queen’s Young Leaders Medal for Services to the Commonwealth, is a National Geographic Explorer, Forbes 30 under 30, and the youngest person to represent New Zealand at the United Nations in New York. She was named Pacific Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020 and 2022.


        Neysa Koizumi - Saturday afternoon

        Neysa is the lead researcher and lead facilitator at the Digital Waitaha Charitable Trust. Originally from the United States, she is a mother of two children and brings over 20 years of experience as a former IT professional. She began her career as a full-stack developer, understanding the importance of building a comprehensive skill set across all areas of the field.

        Neysa is a keen researcher of digital safety and wellbeing and is deeply committed to helping individuals become responsible and safe digital citizens. Her passion lies in keeping children empowered online, enabling them to maximise the benefits of the digital world while avoiding its dangers.

        Jane Hunter O.B.E., CNZM - Saturday Evening

        Renowned as the "First Lady of New Zealand Wine," Jane Hunter has been a transformative force in the country's wine industry since taking the helm at Hunter's Wines in 1987. After the sudden passing of her husband, Ernie Hunter, who founded the Marlborough-based winery in 1987, Jane stepped up as owner, viticulturist, and managing director.

        Committed to innovation, sustainability, and showcasing New Zealand's unique character, Jane has helped cement Marlborough's reputation as a premier wine-producing region.

        Accommodation

        Destination Marlborough has organized special rates on accommodation in Blenheim for the IWNZ Conference, you can find them in the document link below. We encourage you to book a few days on either side of the Conference dates so as to be able to enjoy what Marlborough has to offer outside the Conference. The Scenic Hotel is already fully booked for the dates of the Conference, so we suggest booking your accommodation as early as possible.
